Thief!Kyouko concept art and style tests

Kyouko definitely needed something comfy to wear so I picked more elements from her casual wear into her design. I was really struggling with the color scheme for this one, but I decided to combine the palettes from her casual wear and magical girl outfit. The long scarf can be used to cloak her face if she needs to hide her identity but most importantly it’ll look damn awesome billowing in battle. Her boots are practically made for sneaking around - and who knows what that suspicious-looking bag even contains?

Kyouko is able to skillfully fight using a variety of weapons (like the lance) but prefers to carry two light-weighted daggers on her belt for maximal ease of movement. Kyouko’s innate magical potential is high, but as a commoner proper magical training has been inaccessible for her. She might have some tricks up her sleeve, though!
