True but this is now my grandam gave me these over 20 years ago before good internet became common on the island, good at the time being dial up. She did not by them then and she did not buy them when she was leaving us but she had them for EVERYONE.

Yes, those candies just spawn at every grandma's purse.

this really reminds me of my grandparents

I've always suspected that - pre Internet - you only found these at Woolworth's. I can't think of a more grandmotherly thing then buying candy only sold a store that was the largest retailer when they were young but was in full decline by the time they had grand-kids to hand the candy out to.

I actually saw these in a store last week! According to the label, they're called "strawberry bonbons."

I find the easiest way to find them online is to search for "Arcor Strawberries". Those particular ones seem to be a signature thing that they make.
