Back when The Flying Press was known as The Smog, one issue had an article evaluating the legendary Kanto trio, in terms of appearance, viability, and other factors. Can’t recall if I struggled with deciding on a proper approach for this illustration, I can only assume I had seen Pixar’s animated short on birds before drawing it.
