the biggest issue with committing to a drawing series is taking a break and coming back to it a few months later only to find that some of your drawing style/techniques have changed. i completed the fire and grass starter pieces in january this year but then procrastinated on the water one for the last couple of months haha x'D anyway, this one ended up with a lot more detail and background rendering and also the gen 8 starter (which the other two did not). might need to go back to the other ones just to add the final starter characters...

anyway, this will probably be the only upload from me for the rest of the month! going to a conference and then travelling for a bit until the end of the may. see you all on the other side!
