I dunno, on one hand any animal that can bring Hookbang to tears shouldn't be kept within 30 meters of her.

On the other hand, it might be a blessed hedgehog since the topright duck is still pretty hole-y.

evidently, the artist has confused hedgehogs with porcupines; a hedgehog's quills do not come out, nor do they grow that long relative to its body size.

Depending on how hard you try to pull them out! But honestly, I guess it is just a staple in cartoons/comics that a hedgehog's quills are shown to be longer and to get stuck in those who get stung by them.
