Just saw the trailer. It looks pretty good. Don't know why people complain about adaptations not perfectly recreating a previous work. If you want it to be a copy, just watch the original anime.

I will. And I don't complain much about Lord of the Rings leaving out Tom Bombadil. I don't complain at all about this trashfire of an adaption, because I never got my hopes up for it. I don't get my hopes up for anything coming out of hollywood anymore. Because it's so predictably trash.
I'm going to give one of these opinions, if Netflix wants to do "western" adaptations of anime, they could get better results with Fraco/Belgian/Italian crews that don't fear stylish over "muh realism" like most of USA productions, there is dogmatig or pathological relation of "realism=mature for normies" to the point they demolish any kind of charm the main material has.
