Other people have already said it, but I really hope this suit comes back in the future in the way hypermode did in Prime 3. Maybe imply that it has some massive energy requirements to sustain, so you have to drain enough enemies of health to fill a bar and activate it, and that then depletes as long as the suit is equipped?

That would actually be a neat mechanic. It would also show just how inhuman Samus is. That the "suit" is a part of her basically.

It was already established that the Power Suit was a part of Samus and connected to her biologically, so that's nothing new to Metroid lore, honestly.
