I wanted to pit Musashi and New Jersey from rival video games Kantai Collection and Azur Lane due to how I love both of them and how I love pitting certain characters against each other for fun. In this case, this is based on how both IJN Musashi and USS New Jersey (BB-62) IRL were the 2nd ships of their class.

As well as Musashi's namesake is hailed as the greatest Samurai in history while USS New Jersey is the most honored battleship in United States history, boasting nineteen battle stars that spans over 50 years of service to the USN.
