Once upon a time someone commented my Doolittle Raid illustration as "field trip with little sister".
I agree with it, and, that's how I imagined it to be.
Enterprise met Hornet--her little sister--for the first time before the Raid.
She almost immediately took up the responsibility as a big sister--she escorted the whole fleet to keep Hornet safe.
It must had been the sweetest time Enterprise had.
