"Sehen Sie mich!" can be translated as "Look at me!" but also as "Visit me!". "Look at me!" would more likely be expressed by "Sehen Sie mich an!"

"In meinem Selbst" would be better translated as "within my inner self", "Selbst" meaning something like the essence of a person.

As a native German speaker, I've at least tried to translate the meaning of the note to some extent.
"Sehen Sie Mich!" has bugged me for a long time, as a work by a Japanese, I just assumed it was inaccurate - to translate it with "Visit me!" or in german with smth. along the lines of "Schauen Sie vorbei" would make a lot more sense.
