Hello there! ^o^/

Here on my Patreon the start of a new month means a new piece of artwork made specially for my patrons! For February I wanted to make something that reflected the dreaminess I've felt recently toward life and my fascination with nature. I've been intrigued by sunrises and the beautiful colors they form as the sun spreads across the cold morning sky. There's something comforting about knowing that the sun will always rise, even in your darkest moments.

I've been having fun playing around with different techniques and styles though I think I'll always have a soft spot for digital painting. There's something particular about the process of painting that feels like a journey in itself and I tend to associate a particular memory with each piece as if it holds a story within its lines and brush strokes. In this particular piece I wanted to capture some of my favorite parts of a sunrise: the colors, the light, and the indescribably magical feeling you get as you see it creep into existence and slowly flood into the world.
