    Some explaination:

Nijika as Filipina were meant to represent an average Filipiono's "extrovertedness" (or "overproud" in other words). The specific attire is a parody of Nescafe commercial in Philipines.

Ikuyo as Indonesian were to represent the country's issue about massive national debt, just like her character. Hence why she's wearing formal Indonesian attire.

Bocchi as Vietnamese is, well, a play on Viet Cong stereotype of being "good at hiding".

Nijika as Thai is because she's overall yellow in color, being a jab on the right-wing royalist faction in Thailand. Her whistle (a symbol of one of these royalist faction) is a further evidence.

I prefer to think NepCafe is piping hot Nepgear bathwater. Closer to my image of what Kita would enjoy ;p

The whole "Kita being Filipino" thing also started when some guys pointed out her name 'Kita' translates to a word in the Filipino language.

As an actual Filipino I can agree to that somewhat.

Then again I'm a bit of a outlier due to me being more restrained than most.

And I wouldn't say over proud or extroverted more like we're just generally a really friendly sort so long as there's nothing present to prevent us from being friendly with anyone.

But I will agree some of us can be overly proud at times which can grate on my own nerves as well.

And yeah we can be some of the weirdest freaks of nature with drinking piping hot coffee while it's already blazing hot.

While I hate those Yellow Shirt bastards for ruining my country for a decade (and counting), I have to give it to the artist. The characterization here at least makes sense.

P.S., Oh, right. It's Hinghoi. My fellow countrymen. Now it makes absolute sense.

Well yeah, "kita" can mean either "see", "income" or a pronoun which is "you" and "me" combined, depending on context and accent

The Filipino stereotype of being extroverted and very sociable is (unfortunately for me) true, to the point the any Filipino with Bocchi-like personality/behavior would be seen as someone with mental defect.

And yes, coffee any time of the day. Doesn't matter if it's a scorching hot summer afternoon or close to midnight.
