Backfire number 1: Ningguang is going to hire Shenhe to make sure Yelan is working.
Backfire number 2: Shenhe is going to interpret it as being payed to look after Yelan, preventing Yelan from working even more.

Knowing everyone's luck, there's a third unintended consequence as well.
