For those unaware, one of the more minor memes associated with the Yoru Mac family commercial is that the father in it is actually Chihiro, linking into the Kagurabachi memes, despite the fact that the two don't look that similar to one another aside from the short black hair. The artist themselves have said that the man is supposed to be the father, not Chihiro.
Amusingly, this meme association is known enough that Pixpedia mentions it in the article they have on the commercial, theorizing that it might be one reason why the commercial went viral in the West (while simultaneously being confused on why Kagurabachi is viral). Someone should let them know what's up.
