I wonder if their parents see the average TTRPG as full of harmful species stereotypes so DM-kun would also double as the 'bad boy' forbidden buddy.

Yeah, i was gonna mention how interesting it would get with the mimic girl playing, but the idea of stereotypes about monstergirls being carried by those games is a much bigger room for speculation

I know that the dog like apperance of the Kobold are a mainstay of asian pop culture and it's help to differeante them from dwarf and elf.

But I wish the author find a way to stay closer to the originall myth where they are spirit of the mine.

I mean when you go far back enough, elf and kobold become words for the same thing

I'm not the best GM out there, but I try to do my best for my group. So long as they have fun, that's what matters to me at the end of the day.

They definitely had fun with Lost Mines of Phandelver, and ended up getting so powerful (they got to like Lv9-10, when the book only goes to Lv4-5 range for enemies!) that I had to basically replace the last three Story locations' enemies with stronger stuff as to not be a disappointing cakewalk.

And they're also going through a Deathwatch mission I've been writing, and they're enjoying that, especially since I've given some really nice set-pieces and chances for the four of them to do some cool stuff against some T'au, a atmospheric section against an Ambull that stalked them through the sewers of the Hive City, and are reaching the climax.

Any multiplayer game would benefit tremendously if the attitude of 'making sure everyone else has fun first' is shared by every single player at the table/in the lobby. Really, individuals who expect to be entertained by everyone else and complain when that doesn't happen aren't needed in any gaming group.

Or maybe someone can convince otherwise about those individuals.

Or the players that only have fun if THEY are the main character/only one getting or doing cool things/do things that disrupt the game for everyone else.
