I imagine that she's a high-class courtesan, and well-known for demanding to be entertained by her clients before the act. Whether it's singing a song, telling a story, gifting her an art piece -- the more impressed she is with the display, the more varied and attentive her services become. She claims to be a beastfolk, but she might actually be a demon of some kind.
