Makes me wonder: Do modern Austrians use the old nationalist slogan, "Bis in den Tod, Rot-Weiß-Rot!" ("Until we're dead, red-white-red!") as a football chant? It seems like it fits the occasion, but I don't know if it would be considered culturally appropriate.

I don't think so, at least a cursory Google search didn't yield any sign of use among contemporary Austrian football fans.
