Not gonna lie, I sometimes wonder half-seriously whether Karin actually is black or whatever, maybe mixed race, since her shade of dark skin isn't usually typical in anime if it were *just* a tan, or whatever. I think her design is just based on a black cat, she has sharp glowing yellow eyes.
