I don't remember what exactly provided cannon-like material in the game to provide such a paring, that is to say, when compared to the Fang and Vanille paring. But i also do not protest this either.

You mean you don't remember there team-up during the whole thing in Hope's home town. They worked pretty well together, and then there was that whole slapping Fang thing. It's weird because Lightning only slapped Fang, when she'd normally deck Snow.. I think she liked Fang. Fang seemed to enjoy it.

it's been a few months, but yeah, I remembered that whole scene AFTER posting this....sorry bout that.
