Despite being the mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Remilia Scarlet is rarely seen lifting a finger to help keep it in shape. She’s far more likely to be seen in an unlikely place doing something unexpected for fun. On this day, for example, she was serving Patchouli while wearing a maid outfit.

A snack is a type of food eaten not for sustenance but for pleasure. Humans have been consuming snacks for millennia, as shown by cave paintings depicting methods for harvesting honey dating back roughly 10,000 years. And there’s much more evidence of humans consuming food not just for its nutritional value but also for its flavor throughout recorded history, especially salty and sweet foods. It’s not a stretch to say the pursuit of flavor is the driving force behind the creation of different snacks to this very day.

The Maids’ Chocolate Hell “Where on earth did she learn about that?” thought Remilia as Patchouli called out the name of a sweet she’d never heard of and the accompanying recipe. “Guess that means she wants me to make it,” concluded Remilia.
