Yuka runs into the mansion, dripping wet, parasol down in her hand as she didn't even bother putting it up - the wind was too strong. She's panting a bit and shaking head to get drops of water out of her eyes, grimacing as she keeps slipping on the wooden floors. It was raining like hell outside, a reminder that autumn was coming in big steps... which meant that most of her flowers would soon whither. She sighed, looking around. Kaguya was probably in her room....Kaguya was never in her room. It was left untouched since the day she stopped meeting Yuka. Locked in one of the concealed doors of Eientei, she set up a makeshift lab. Her objective : To concoct an antidote which would cancel the effects of the Hourai Elixir. She tries on and on, although futilely.
On the floor there are countless syringes, the failed products mostly caused her excruciating pain, with her wounds open and healing immediately. She wonders if she could succeed.Yuka frowned a bit, staring into the empty space of Kaguya's room. There wasn't even a mess the princess made while sleeping - she never bothered to roll up the futon. Nothing, it was clean, and if not the laptop charging in corner, she wouldn't even have guessed it was Kaguya's room... she stepped back out, staring down the corridor. So she vanished again...? And once more without a warning. What was going on? Was she hiding something from her? She started walking again, deeper into the mansion. For all she knew, Kaguya might not even have been inside Eientei. And even if she was, chances of finding her in this place were... She sighed. This place had too many hidden corridor, passages, secret rooms... where should she start looking? She didn't even know half of them...Kaguya needs a toilet break though, so she exits the room as silently as she can.Yuka jumps, startled, when wall next to her slides open and Kaguya stumbles out, bumping into her. She staggers a bit and slips, her socks wet after her trip outside, and ends up falling right on her butt to the hard wooden floor. "Kaguya!?"

Kaguya gasps. Acting as if she was a hurt animal, she backed off immediately, hiding her arm which is full of needle wounds.Yuka's frown deepens as she sits up, staring at Kaguya suspiciously. "Kaguya...? What's the matter? I was looking for you... you were here all the time?" Leaning to the side, she tries to peer into the room she just walked out of, but it's hard to make out even shapes in the darkness, so her eyes drift back to the princess. "What's going on?" She stands up, trying not to slip again, and faces Kaguya. She was acting suspiciously, in a very bad way. Concern was visible on her face as she eyed her spouse up and down, taking in every detail. Skin paler than before, slight shaking, sickening skinniness.... "Who did this to you?" Her voice was firm all of a sudden, hands clenching and unclenching into fists by her sides. Who DARED....Kaguya looked at Yuka with unfocused eyes. "Y-Yuka?....." With very little vitality, she drawled "Eternity.... cure..." Kaguya just stood there with half-lidded eyes.

"...Kaguya...." Yuka took a step froward, reaching out and grabbing her by her arms as gently as she could, though her fingers itched to dig into someone's flesh, anyone's, just to let out the fury inside. "What happened here, why do you.. look like this?" And what was she saying? Eternity cure? Someone was trying to make Kaguya mortal again!?Without a word, Kaguya points towards the dark room behind her.Yuka looked at the motioned direction, trying to make out anything in the darkness. All she could see was an outline of something that looked like... a table? Table covered with some glass containers... one of Eirin's labs? No, she kept everything in another part of Eientei... The flower youkai took a step forward, standing on an equal level with Kaguya now, eyes locked on the room. "Kaguya... what is this place?"

Kaguya made a little smile. "My room."

Yuka shuddered a bit at the smile. There was something very, very off. Something wrong was going on here... she turned her head to look at Kaguya, her expression unreadable. "Kaguya.. but your room is a few corridors away from here. You even left your laptop there...!"

"No no no" Kaguya shakes head vigorously. "This is My room now. I have to finish my work." She shuffles back to her workbench."Work..? Kaguya what work? You can't possibly be working in such conditions.... you look exhausted! I thought someone was keeping you here and torturing when I first saw you stumble out!" Yuka grabbed the princess by her shoulder, shaking her, though trying to be as gentle with it as possible with the newly-discovered panic raising inside her. She had a really bad feeling about whatever was happening to Kaguya, and the more she spoke, the worse it got.Kaguya lets out a slow laugh. "Why do you worry? I cannot die.. Not until I finish."

"Until you finish WHAT? You're planning on dying on me, Kaguya?" Yuka's hands slid a bit down Kaguya's shoulders, though she was still holding her. What in the world...

"Finish? Finish the elixir- No, the counterelixer. To finish this antidote. Finish these timeless chains. Finish my eternity!" Kaguya shakes her off.

"....eternity cure... is that what you meant?" Yuka raised her voice, trembling. Was this why she vanished for so long? Was this why she looked like a living corpse, exhausted, pale, with dark rings around her eyes...? Yuka swallowed thickly. Was she trying to finish herself off? In this condition, if she succeeded and took the 'antidote', she would die on spot! "You... you IDIOT! Listen to yourself, do you have any idea what you're doing!?"

"Of course I know what I'm doing!" Kaguya shoots a piercing gaze. "Whether I die immediately when I take it or not, I will complete it! Through this course of time, I have learned that death is always sweeter than immortality!" She gripped a vial so tightly that it broke and caused her hand to bleed.

"So what, just because of that you intend on leaving me behind? Stupid NEET!" She hissed through gritted teeth, walking up and grabbing at Kaguya's hand rather roughly, holding it up to take out the shards of glass from it and lick off the blood that started dripping down the skin and onto the floor. "You might not care but I do... what you're doing to yourself... did you ever think of what I might feel about it? You're so selfish..." Her eyes fell half-lidded as she lapped at the blood until she froze, noticing something. She pulled the hand closer and rolled Kaguya's sleeve up. Bruises. Bruises and injection wounds. She started trembling again. "Oh gods Kaguya... what the...."

Kaguya tugged her arm off.Gengetsu decided to escape from the noisy instruments house, she didn't felt like kicking instruments today. She reforced the seal a bit in case someone tried to open it. She went take the chirumiru milk, she finished the bottle though. "ahh..it's a nice day, the clouds are covering the sun, i can hear thunderclaps and it's a bit darkish....ahh....nice weather." She went flying outside. She decided to explore the bamboo forest again. She decided to look in the front now to avoid crashing again. Then she landed on one bamboo tree top. She looked around and noticed Eientei. She decided to look around and peek through the windows. She was curious.

"That wasn't my agenda... It's too early to tell you.." Kaguya knows that the Yama has told Yuka that her time is short. She wanted to reverse her immortality just so that, maybe, when the time comes, she'll use it so that they can see each other again on the other side -if there is another side...

"Just what did you do to yourself here... all those.... Kaguya, how many times you died here?" One hand clenched into fist by her side, the other frozen in mid-air where she held Kaguya's arm just moments ago, eyes locked dully at the Princess' face. "I don't care if you think it's too early, you... have you thought what will happen if you die right after taking the potion!?"

"Only a nine would take it immediately without knowing the risks!"

"But you have been taking it! Just look at all those injections, there is NO way of testing it without taking it yourself and trying to die!!"

Gengetsu peeked window by window. She spotted some rabbits coming towards her. The demon had fun scaring them by making a scary face. She enjoyed how some went hopping away as fast as they could or how some had heart attacks. She suddenly heard voices. "Hmm..I wonder who's inside"

Kaguya realized that she's been contradicting herself the whole time, she fell to her knees. "J-Just what do you rather me do...!?" Tears welled up in her eyes.Yuka stared down at her for a moment, puzzled and saddened at the same time. She sat down by her, putting arms around her gently. "You really are a stupid NEET, aren't you... even if I die at some point, you'll have eternity to find a cure of our own immortality after that. Just look at yourself now, you're in a ruin. What would the rabbits think of her princess? What would Eirin say? What do you think I feel, seeing you like that... Stupid NEET.' Her own eyes burned but she was trying to hold back the tears. Kaguya was weak, weaker than ever, she needed to keep strong for her at least for now...

"Ever since we were together... it's always in my mind, all spiraling into the eventuality between us."

Gengetsu was still peeking through the window, she decides to come inside. She walks silently.

"As if I didn't think of it... but I accepted that we will be parted. You said yourself I shouldn't take the Elixir, and I agreed. You'll have enough time to die after I do, Kaguya. Just don't leave me now...." She pulled the broken princess closer, hiding her own face in black hair - were they always that thin and fragile? - feeling how much Kaguya's body suffered trough those past days and weeks while she experimented on herself. It was painful, making her heart ache, and her tears flow down her cheeks despite best attempts of not letting them. "Idiot..."

Gengetsu still walks inside. She stops. She decides to hear a conversation. "Hmmm...I think I better peek from outside...I hope there's a window." She slowly walked outside. She noticed the rabbits where trying to attack her, Gengetu just kicked them. However she was a bit worried about the noise they made when they were kicked, so she proceeded to go out at full speed.Kaguya returns the hug. "I should be the one worrying on how much time you have left..."

Gengetsu trips and makes a loud noise. "Ffffff"

"I told you not to worry, stupid... I don't plan on dying just yet, even the Yama said I can have more time-..." She flinches, her head snapping up and looks outside, hurriedly wiping off tears with one sleeve. "What was that...?"

<_< Gengetsu notices she has a rabbit chewing on her wing. "Get off!" she flaps the wing trying to get the rabbit off her. It worked, but it went flying until it went inside and crashed with the wall.Yuka jumps to her feet immediately, in one swift move standing between the doorway and Kaguya to protect her from any attack that might come their way. She heard something smash against the wall right outside the secret room with a sickening splash, for a moment there was silence, then it apparently fell to the floor. By the wet sound and crack of bones, it was no doubt - something small but definitely organic has just been crashed against a wall outside. Yuka frowned. "What the hell is going on..."

Gengetsu hears mumbling inside. "Crap...I think I called their attention." She thought. Then she flew and landed on the Mansion's rooftop, hoping she isn't detected there.One useful thing about traditional Japanese-style buildings are relatively thin rooftops with little space between the actual roof and ceilings, Yuka's eyes traveled up, when she heard the quiet thud. "....Kaguya, will you mind if I devastate the ceiling a little bit?"

"Do as you please..."

Yuka nods and takes out a spellcard, aiming at the spot on ceiling from where she heard the thud. Without further ado, she fires the infamous attack. "[Love Sign] MASTER SPARK!" Huge beam of pure energy strikes the ceiling, going through it and making bits of wood crumble down into the room.Gengetsu notices the huge Master Spark laser. She grazes, the laser was at 1 milimeter from her. She then backs off. "What the.....this laser....it's the Master Spark.....o hoho....so it is her..." That was very close though.Yuka's eyes are locked on the ceiling - or rather a giant hole left after her attack, and she glances behind to see if Kaguya is alright. "Kaguya, go to your room... our room. I'll talk to you later, just let me finish the intruder off."

"I'll just...rest here."

"Finally, I can have some fun after days of boredom." Gengetsu flew and landed on a bamboo tree top near Eientei.Yuka nods, pulling Kaguya back closer for a moment, just to press a gentle kiss to her lips, and releases her. "I'll keep the enemy away from here then..." Her gaze slides back towards the ceiling. She could hear some mumbling, then a sound akin to that of wings, larger than Aya's though. "Well, time to prove my worth as your bodyguard, Hime-sama. I'll be back soon enough." And with that, she lept into the air, flying outside and looking for the opponent. There she was, pink dress and large white wings, a smile on her face. This had to be her.
