Inquisitors don't wear power armor. That's a Sororitas.

Actually...they can and do, so it can be an Inquisitor. Also, check out the Inquisitorial "=I="s on the armor and book. Definitely an Inquisitor.

Inquisitors do wear power armour. But this the same kind of armour that Sisters wear, and she has the Sororitas symbol, the fleur-de-lis. On the other hand, she also has the Inquisitors symbol. So I'd say she can be tagged as both.
Keep in mind that while the Sisterhood and the Inquisition are two separate organizations, there is some overlap between them and the Sisters are unofficially the armed forces of the Inquisition.

I am pretty sure the Sisters are the armed forces of the Ecclesiarchy, since the church are not allowed to have organized forces of "man-at-arms".

Either way, she has that =I= so she's probably a Sister of Battle operating with an Inquisitor to gear up in a female Inquisition force armor or she actually IS an inquisitor.

Yes, they are the armed forces of the Ecclesiarchy. But they are also called in by the Inquisition whenever there's a need for heavy firepower, since the Inquisition doesn't have an army of it's own.

I think they're more specifically associated with the Ordo Hereticus, as the Grey Knights are associated with the Ordo Malleus. I think the Deathwatch is associated with the Ordo Xenos, but I could be wrong on that one.

The Inquisition can call anyone it wants, in most cases, and have them come to their aid. From Space Marines to Imperial Guardsmen.

However, just because someone is female in 40k doesn't mean shes a sister of battle. Inquisitors, and only inquisitors, wear the "I" of the Inquisition, now it may be possible she was a member of the Sisters of Battle, but she's not acting in that capacity now.

That's not what I said, and you know it. I said that the fact she's wearing the freaking uniform the the SoB complete with their insignia, weapons and everything implies she's a SoB just as much as wearing the I applies she's with the Inquisition. If not more.

Fun fact: The Sororitas are female because of a loophole. After the Age of Apostasy, the Ecclesiarchy was not allowed to have an established force of "men-at-arms". So they gave women weapons. Not even kidding.

I play Witch Hunters on TT and that is definitely a Battle Sister. All sister models have the =I= on them, though its usually carried on a chain around the waist.

Heres some official Battle Sisters art straight from GW

    http://images.wikia.com/warhammer40k/images/b/b8/840914-sister_of_battle_color_large.jpg

    And the models

    http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ARyCHIqabVY/TGl6i3DUHEI/AAAAAAAAA-w/HtuXKBkoVCI/s1600/sisters-infantry.jpg

I mean, yeah, it could be an inquisitor wearing battle sister armor, but I doubt it.

After painting a bunch of them I better know what my girls look like XD

But then again I actually PLAY them. It would be easier for everyone else if she had white hair/bobcut or something. Sisters hair can be any color or most any style but the bobcut/white hair is the norm.

As far as I can tell, its one of two possibilities:

    1. Female Inquisitor in power-armor.
    2. Sister of Battle who has been permanently seconded to an inquisitors retinue (hence the (even more blatant) Inquisitional(?) iconography).

Pick one and run with it.

Also showing scheme of the Order of Our Martyred Lady.
She is definitely a Sister of Battle.

By going at the models, we have female space marines :V

The point being that the 40k lore is pretty bad at being consistent, any attempt to say anything definitive is a fool's errand.

Sisters play entirely different from space marines.

SMs are a well rounded, jack of all trades army. They rely on various types of infantry as well as tactical support from various tanks. They have access to an arsenal of various weaponry, both ranged and close combat. They are durable and effective. Space Marine fights I've seen tend to end pretty close.

SoBs are completely different (going off of the Witch Hunters codex here since the white dwarf one is really just a placeholder.) They lack any sort of reliable long range firepower (save for a single artillery tank which is hands down the coolest rhino chassis vehicle in the entire game) as well as close combat abilities. Their mid range firepower is pretty good but their close range firepower is beyond devastating. They do have some effective cc units but they are all glass cannons and will be shot to pieces. Sisters battles usually end with the sisters steamrolling the opponent or the opponent steamrolling the sisters.

Sisters also have crazy faith powers and are capable of trolling the battlefield with them. <---(You have no idea how fun this is.)

Despite this, the only *real* tactical advantage the sisters have in the current meta is that no one plays them. So when they do come up, no one knows what to expect.

That may soon become a very literal example as Games Workshop said that they would discontinue making Sisters of Battle miniatures.

Actually they just had a new White Dwarf codex released and, though it isn't officially confirmed by GW, I know people who have seen the concepts for the new sisters models.

They'll probably get officially updated after Necrons.

I don't think they would discontinue it, last time they said that they reintroduced them in the Witch Hunters.

I think they are going to shift how they play, the problem now is that unless you really love flamers, they are a weak army. Or at least, in my experience, they tend to falter against armored opponents.

The reason why she has the I of the Inquisition is because the Adepta Sororitas is the chamber militant of Ordo Hereticus, in addition to being the army of the Ecclesiarchy. Whether or not they're working under the Inquisition directly at the time, they're still associated with them, but that doesn't make them inquisitors.

It's like how Grey Knights aren't inquisitors, but they still have Inquisition iconography.
