A crushing abyss of sorrow, where all hope is lost. For characters that display spirit-breaking emotional turmoil much greater than simple sadness.
Often accompanied with crying, empty eyes, constricted pupils, and/or hands on own face. Not to be confused with traumatization, humiliation, shame, or embarrassment.
