The idea of Blake and Yang having a showdown together against Adam is in and of itself a fine idea.

But the actual execution is garbage and a waste of Adam as an antagonist.

The crux of the issue is that this was done too early, at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

I'm probably one out of four people who believe that Adam's villain role should end where it began: Atlas. He should've left with the rogue gallery in V5 (and it really looked like he followed them), he should've aligned with Salem, and he should have went to Atlas next. Basic symbolism in the making, yet the idea was executed early, which is one of the easiest mistakes made in the series so far.

Well the first mistake is not always the easiest, and no mistake has been so obvious to notice as pre-emptively closing Adam's villain arc.

It was the tipping point for a lot of ex-fans who had apprehensions that shippers and LGBT criers took over the show by browbeating the writers to bend the knee.
