Or maybe they're the result of elves men and humans women relationships. Question is still up on how males elves operate. Are they into human or orc women? do they have a extremely low libido (the specie is long-lived, so it's not like they need to reproduce often).

I'm pretty sure male elves are the perfect storm of extremely rare (more common than Gerudo males, but not by much), with rock-bottom libido, and are mostly gay.
