Kanna inherited her name from her predecessor and father.
With this post it's likely they were visiting said father's grave.
Kanna's father is alive, he's mentioned in the anime.
The same can't be said about this guy's weird as fuck continuity.
After we have to keep in mind that in this universe a dog was threat to Kanna whereas in reality it would actually be a snack for her not the other way around.
