I'm not saying that cancel culture had nothing to do with it; He briefly touches on it earlier on in the letter.

Channel is a naturally creepy type of creator, and has been drawing Hatsune Miku pictures filled with his quirks ever since he first started drawing, but since making the MV, it seems his influence has increased a little, spreading bad-smelling beauty and mischief, and recently it seems to be reaching even people who don't like sensitive content.

But keep in mind that their Twitter account has exploded over the last year with all their uploads consistently hitting over 100K likes and gathering millions of views, which puts him in the same league as avogado6 and khyle.. That's a level only a few artists will ever reach in their lifetime so that undoubtedly has to come with at least some mental pressure.

So I can understand wanting to scale back, or wishing to set some boundaries.
I still consider this a net loss though. I just hope he doesn't start removing posts retroactively.

I would save if were you, it is a natural thing to most JP artist to wipe their work (and their accounts) for a variety of reasons.

Oh, I'm not too worried about that. Other people here have been very diligent over the last few years with keeping track of his work, so we should already have everything. Including his already deleted Blue Archive arc.

It's just the inevitable loss of metadata and things that we don't save here, like replies and stuff.

This is almost certainly a result of people getting mad about Rabbit Hole Miku and the micro bikini 2TB Miku thing
