Oh yes, I've noticed on the dialogues on the female cast that they don't buy his law abiding citizen facade and then get interested more on him when he turns out to be a "bad boy" kind of proxy.

Dont forget, kind, caring, has an effectively bottomless well of assets available to him, and will literally throw himself into a tornado of fire to help someone because they are a good person... Dude is simultaneously incredibly unfit to be a standard hero and yet willing to do it anyways because its the right thing and he is there when no one else is.
