I know she DMCA'd the art she made that was uploaded to Danbooru, but is she known for DMCA'ing fanart, or is this some injoke? Some replies on Twitter were saying the same thing.

Apparently, she found some paywalled artwork on Rule34, decided to take action, and carpet bombed anything that seemed relevant on every booru, without bothering with details like whether it's actually paywalled, or even made by her. Or whoever she delegated it to did that.

So I looked into it after making my comment.
What I could gather is that Saruei hired a third party to issue DMCAs for artwork she owned. Either out of laziness or ignorance, the third party issued DMCAs for the entire Saruei tag on image hosting sites, which is obviously not solely consisting of art owned by Saruei herself. Somehow this has been going on for at least a year and Saruei is only just now finding out that the third party has not been doing exactly what she asked them to do, because communication between all related parties has been terrible.
