She doesn't get along with foxes, though, and there's a rumor that no foxes live in Sado.
She would end up causing trouble with the foxes of Gensokyo, but that's a story for another day.

Yeah, I expected, say, Mamizou foaming at the mouth at Ran, who is bemused or oblivious to why she hates her.

Could be based on "The Fox and the Tanuki" story where there is a rivalry between the two about their transformation ability.

Mamizou does NOT like foxes. Her profile even suggests the possibili5y of her causing trouble with the foxes in Gensokyo, which to us means "Ran".
