It is the way that it is shaded to give it a somewhat realistic form but at the same time the facial composition is way off and the eyeballs look like actual oversized eyeballs bulging out. The mouth is cute with its sharp little chompers but the shape and placement of it gives her face a childish look, only emphasized by her big childlike eyes. Personally it's a creepy for no good reason in my book.
